Western Australian Universities international students are still stuck at borders or in other regions because of the sudden announcement at a late-night press conference by Mark McGowan that the opening of borders is postponed due to the spread of the Omicron Covid variant which was earlier planned for the rest of the world on Feb. 5, 2022.
However returning international students must comply with several requirements, including:
When entering the state, they must show proof of vaccination or a medical exemption.
Has access to "appropriate establishments" within 200 kilometres of their Western Australian entry point

On the first and 12th days of their quarantine, returning students must be tested.
