Government of the New South Wales has funded $ 4.7 Million to the researchers of the University of New South Wales for the research of precautions in infectious diseases, drug and alcohol use, and primary health care. The government has announced this funding as a crucial part of NSW Health’s Prevention research Support Program (PRSP). NSW government is trying to give support to the NSW research organisations conducting prevention and early intercession research that are associated with NSW health priorities. This initiative of the New South Wales (NSW) government will help the research infrastructures and approaches to create research capabilities and to convert evidence from research into policies and practices. Sean Emery, Senior Vice Dean (Research and Operations) at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), has congratulated the successful researchers of UNSW. He said that “This awards scheme is incredibly important as it aligns with our faculty’s strategy to reduce health inequities and improve health outcomes,”.
