Torrens University is partnering with Modern Money Lab to launch online global economics courses for students who want to become economists. Torrence University will start offering this course to students from September 2022. Torrens University will offer postgraduate courses in economics based on modern monetary theory and ecological economics in partnership with Modern Money Lab. Center for Sustainable Prosperity will manage this applied research and will support the goal of enabling economies, societies, and people to flourish under environmental, financial and social limitations. This collaboration will support the development of a new research centre for Torrens University. Alwyn Louw, professor and vice-chancellor of Torrens University, Australia said that this partnership will also help in improving the university's research goals and social goals.
