Jason Luppnow, a student, associate professors (Amy Tian and Vidy Potdar), and WA Police Force’s Inspector Jodie Pearson are creating an app to solve criminal cases. They said that they are confident enough about this app. It will help the police to capture identifying marks quicker and without bias. Jodie Pearson said that “Sometimes the only line of enquiry we might have to solve a crime is a person’s tattoo or other identifying feature,”. Therefore, they are making this app to avail in help in identifying the criminal.
