Monash University has announced that they are going to host the 2023 National Indigenous Tertiary Education Student Game (NITESG). Monash University will host this Event on the lands of the Kulin Nation. NITESG is a four-day competition in which more than 300 students will take part. This 2023 sports event will include many sports, such as Basketball, Football, and Volleyball. Mark Sinderverry, the chief executive officer of UniSport congratulated Monash University for winning the right to host the 2023 Indigenous Nationals. He said, “Monash University will provide a unique experience to participants as all events will be hosted at the world-class facilities on their campus. UniSport is committed to providing opportunities to connect students to their universities in a meaningful way and hosting the event entirely on campus is a great way to highlight the benefits of university sport to the wider university community”.
