A new research by Monash University presents an effective approach to predict vulnerabilities in software codes and provides the strength to cyber security. Software vulnerabilities are frequent in all the systems that are developed or created using the source codes. Those systems create many different kinds of problems, such as deadlock, hacking, system failure, etc. To come over of this problem, the Faculty of Information Technology experts have developed the “LineVul” approach. They said that this approach will increase the accuracy in predicting the software problems by more than 300 per cent. This process will only take half of the usual time and effort when compared to the current best prediction tools.
