Alexandra Tauman, marine biology student of James Cook University freshly conducted her honours research project at JCU’s Orpheus Island Research Station. Her project is on the competition between juvenile Acropora corals and various benthic organisms. Her research helped to understand the growth and the survival of benthic organisms/
