The 'Good Vibes Experiment,' a programme to enhance student wellness developed by Flinders University, is now available to the rest of the education sector for free.
Flinders University students collaborated with creative media personnel and mental health specialists at Flinders University, as well as creative digital agency Mango Chutney, to create the colourful and approachable initiative.
The developers intended to showcase support services while also sharing practical techniques to improve wellbeing. This campaign, with the slogan "There are plenty of ways to enhance your mental health, we've built a stack for you to try," encourages students to try out a variety of psychologically-based approaches.
The major feature of the campaign — an activity book – supports this by introducing students to 20 evidence-based wellness methods as well as 40+ easy, entertaining activities that embody these tactics. If children don't like one of the 20 strategies, they're encouraged to try another, recognising that mental health isn't a one-size-fits-all problem.
